TEAM NTRP: Each team to consist of three players with  a total team NTRP rating of not more than 9.0 (Ex. Player #1 NTRP rating 4.0, Player #2 NTRP rating 2.5, Player #3 NTRP rating 2.5)

What is NTRP? It is a self rating system for each player that was created to describe a player’s present playing ability. See Page 2

Team Format: Two(2) Female Players & One(1) Male Player

Play Format: One Women’s Singles match; One Men’s Singles match; One Mixed Doubles match

* All Players on team must play one match. All teams before the beginning of match play for the day must turn in roster of who will be playing . Any team at time of match if short one player can opt to take a forfeit or play all matches with the two remaining players.
 

Game Format: One set to Six(6) games by a margin of two games. A 12 point tie-breaker to be played at 6 games all.

Team Scoring: The team with the most points will be the winner (ex. Team “A” plays Team “B” and match results are 7-6, 2-6 and 6-4). Even though Team “A” won two of the three matches, they would lose the overall match due to the amount of games won. This makes every game count and gives every team a chance to win.

Match Time: Matches to begin at 6PM and end at 8:30PM.

Rules: International Tennis Federation rules in effect

Forfeits and Injuries: If there is a forfeit of a match the player/team due to no show the
forfeiting player/team will forfeit the match or matches and lose 0-1.

If a player suffers an injury and is unable to continue, the match will be considered a forfeit and the forfeiting player/team will lose 0-1. All other points that were played in other matches will count towards the total points for the match.

Team Entry Fees: All team fees are to be played at the beginning of the season and are to be used for balls, court use and Championship trophies.

Team Captain: Each team of three will assign a Team Captain for meetings, match disputes, score entries, etc.

Season Length: Six Weeks including Playoffs.

League Fees: To be paid at the beginning of season, no exceptions.             NEXT PAGE
